Management Committee
The WLC is managed by a management committee made up of volunteers. These volunteers have a range of backgrounds and come from private practice, community organisations and government departments.
The functions of the management committee include:
- Articulate the Centres mission and values
- Provide strategic direction
- Confirm and monitor the Centres programs and services
- Ensure that adequate resources are available and that they are managed effectively
- Ensure compliance with the Centres legal obligations
Vacancies arise on the management committee of the Centre from time to time. If you think you would like to be on the management committee please email the coordinator on coordinator@womenslegalact.org or call her on 6257 4377 and have a chat about what the role entails.
