The National Association of Community Legal Centres (NACLC) is an association of around 200 community legal centres which aims to assist and promote them, and provides a forum for the development of community legal centres’ policy. Objects:

The objects of the Women’s Legal Centre are to work toward the empowerment of all women, with particular emphasis on women who are disadvantaged. The Centre aims to improve women’s access to justice by:

  • providing legal information and advice
  •  referring to sympathetic lawyers and other support services
  • producing information for women about their rights, the legal system and the law
  • doing research, law reform and lobbying activities that help to remove barriers to women’s access to justice
