The National Association of Community Legal Centres (NACLC) is an association of around 200 community legal centres which aims to assist and promote them, and provides a forum for the development of community legal centres’ policy. Governance

The Centre is governed by a Management Committee which consists of 11 women including 2 staff representatives and 2 co-opted members, who meet every 6 weeks. The women represent a broad cross-section of the community, including women from Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. The 7 non-staff and non-coopted members of the committee are elected at the Annual General Meeting.

The membership of the Centre is open to women and organisations, which support the objects of the Centre and are approved by the Committee.
